CapizNED is a coalition/network of 52 NGOs and POs in the province of Capiz and in the City of Roxas. When it was organized 15  years ago under the name of DEVELOPMENT OF COMMUNITY ENTERPRISE OF CAPIZ or the DEVICE-C, it had only 6 PACAP ASSISTED member partner organizations,  The DEVICE-C was then a CLEARING HOUSE of its 6 member-partner organization.

The program proceeded as planned despite several slippages and challenges it had for the past 2 years. A drastic change of strategies was used.

​

On its 3rd year,  partners included only the 3 NGOs: Panitan Development Foundation, Inc., Capiz Roxas Islamic Foundation Inc., and Dao Federation of Small Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperatives. 6 new partner NGOs/POs, Datu Bangkaya Traders MPC, Send Now Prosperity Ass., Progressive Women an Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries, MPC, Capiz Small Coconut Farmers Marketing Cooperative, Katibyugan Development Cooperative and the Mambusao Banana Planter MPC joined the coalition.

  • Design and Facilitate meetings/consultations with PHO/MHO/ Key Health personnel to discuss and formulate DRAFT CSR POLICY /ORDINANCES, LGU Action Plans in the passing of the POLICY/ORDINANCE with inputs from the communities.

  • Map LCE/LGU/NGO/community/private sector support for CSR/FP as baseline data in planning for the conduct of dialogues or forums to generate multi-stakeholder inputs & support to CSR policy/ordinance

  • Design & Facilitate conduct of POLICY Dialogue  on Commodity Self Reliance (CSR)/Family Planning (FP) involving the Sangguniang Bayan on HEALTH; Sangguniang Bayan on appropriation, Local Health Board, Local Finance Committees & NGO Leaders/Representative of the Mun.Council to come up with the Multi Sectoral Ordinance on MNCHN/CSR/FP which will be the subject to a PUBLIC FORUM

  • Assist PROVINCIAL HEALTH OFFICE / MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICE develop briefing materials and key messages on MNCHN /CSR/FP
